Nina is on!

Nina has had a lifelong passion for healthcare. As a child, she was drawn to the white coats and the meaningful responsibilities of medical professionals. Today, she works in the Netherlands with Aethon and every day, she feels the impact she’s able to make.

Nina knew early on that she wanted to work in healthcare. “It always fascinated me. The uniforms, the responsibilities and especially the contact with people.” With a vocational nursing degree and years of experience, Nina understands exactly what the healthcare sector demands.

Every day is different 

Nina’s workday revolves entirely around her clients.“It usually starts with support in daily living tasks, like helping with meals or getting dressed. But personal attention is just as important. Going for a walk, playing a game or simply having a chat. No two days are the same, and that’s what makes this job so special. She believes that genuine care leads to quality care.

Making a difference in challenging moments 

Some situations can be tough but those are often the most meaningful. “Not long ago, I helped calm down a client who seemed very confused. It took time and patience, but eventually, I saw him become more relaxed. That gave me so much satisfaction. It’s in those moments that you truly feel the impact of your work.”
